Sea Song
unreleased - 2011
"waiting for the ships to come in,
sitting and stitching by sea
every sun down for the man that I love.
for he who showed me what life could be.

our beautiful house has run down
as his joints and his spirits have too
but I must go on, for the man that I love.
for he who showed me what I could be.

The dirt's on my hands
from war-ravaged lands
There's still something in nothing it seems
Working the ground
from sun up to sun down
until we can return to the sea

brushing the grass where I've scattered
all of my love and his ashes
hills pale and dry, what tears I've cried
for the man who brought life to me.

Oh how I've grown
and boundaries restored
I've wrestled the strongest of men
When my knuckles are bare
and the end is clear
I'll be stitiching by the sea shore
Still waiting for him to come home
Just waiting for him to come home"
